Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting
and Light Parade

The City of Plattsburg along with Plattsburg Community Christmas invites you to the 1st annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony!

A fun event for the whole family.
  
Time:       6:20 - 7:00 PM
Location: Main and Broadway (Little Park)
Cost:        Free
The evening will start off with a Light Parade coming from the North down Main Street. This is a "for fun" event where anything and anyone that has holiday lights can participate.  The parade will line up at Broadway and 2nd, go down 2nd to City Hall and then turn toward Main Street.  The parade will end at Main and Broadway (parking in US Bank parking).

Approximately 6:30 Joyful Noise from 1st Baptist Church will sing some songs to get everyone in the Christmas mood.

The Mayor will present the Parade Grand Marshal with a plaque and Light up his tree.

This year the Mayor's Christmas tree will have over 1000 lights that dance to music.

Free Hot Drinks, Cookies and Christmas Glow in the Dark Necklaces will be given out across the street at Laclede Hotel Apartments.

Festival of Trees will be open before and after the event.
