Plattsburg Community Christmas
Penguin Patch Holiday Shop
"Small Mall"

Penguin Patch Holiday Shop allows children to "secretly" shop (without Mom & Dad) for parents, brothers & sisters, or other relatives, with the help of adult supervision.  The event is sponsored by the Plattsburg PTA (this is not a fundraiser) & will be held at the Plattsburg City Hall from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1st.

New provider of gifts are being used this year -- come check out the new selections!

 

City Hall's Council room is being modified from a traditional conference space, to one of the busiest shopping "malls" in Plattsburg!

 As parents and children enter City Hall, they will find a place for the parents to take a rest so their children can enter the "no parents allowed" Penguin Patch Holiday Shopping Mall.  Once inside, there will be helpers to guide your child into finding just the right gifts for your family, based upon a determined budget and list of "likes."  Once the child has completed shopping, they will be helped to wrap each gift. 

Items in the store range from under $0.25 to $12.  It is suggested you think about who the child should buy gifts for and what the budget & number of gifts for each person should be.

Kids will love shopping "independently" and keeping their special "secret" until Christmas!
