Parks and Recreation

Plattsburg boasts 6 city parks, each with their own "personality" and style. From soccer fields and basketball courts to gazebos and streams, kids and grown ups alike will enjoy the City's wide variety of recreational facilities.

Perkins Park GazeboPerkins Park is the largest of the parks, including 2 playgrounds, shelters, ball fields, soccer fields and a concession stand.  Community events (4th of July Fireworks, etc) are held at Perkins Park.

Grafton Memorial Park is located next to Perkins Park and is used mainly for community football and soccer.

There are 3 community parks situated throughout Plattsburg for easy access to its citizens.  Grafton and Fireman's parks are located on north side of Plattsburg and Ted Moore park is located on the south side of town.

The newest additions to Plattsburg's park system are Pocket Park (located close to downtown on Main Street) and the Municipal Pool ("Bodies Pool") which is one of the favorite locations for children during the summer.
