 Historic Homes and Walking/Driving Tours
Adding to the rich tapestry of Plattsburg are its Victorian homes, many of which remain in pristine condition and have have been restored to former glory by their present owners. Clay Avenue is lined with magnificent homes of this vintage, as well as other surrounding streets such as Birch, Broadway, Riley and Maple.

Each year the Chamber of Commerce sponsors a driving and/or walking tour of these marvelous historic homes, so you can drive or walk from home to home at your leisure.  Each home on the tour includes a photo, address and any known information about the home's history or its owners. 

A driving tour along Clay Ave., Birch St., Riley St. and Maple St. would take approximately 30 minutes.

A walking tour, weather permitting, is also possible, as the Home Tour streets are lined with sidewalks.  Walking times will vary.
