Surrounding Areas of Interest

Whether you come for just one day or decide to stay for a few more, you'll always find plenty to do in and around Plattsburg.

Surrounding Cities
Because Plattsburg is situated in the middle of several larger cities (Cameron, Liberty, Smithville, Kansas City and St. Joseph), the opportunities for day trips are plenty.  Kansas City offers many of the "big city" attractions, while the other towns provide their own unique blend of "city living" and mid-western charm.  Depending on your destination, a drive to any of these towns will range from 25-45 minutes. For information on a specific city, see the links included on this page.
