About the illustrator:
Laurel DeFreece, freelance artist, has exhibited in numerous galleries, art
shows and museums. Her art work has received many honors and awards.
Laurel's love for children, nature and animals provided inspiration for
"Papa and Me". Laurel and her husband Kenny and their two children live in
