All
young ladies, Freshman through Seniors who attend
Plattsburg High School are eligible to participate. The
winner of this contest will be awarded an academic
scholarship to be used at the college of her choice.
The amount of the scholarship this year is $1000. The
1st and 2nd runners up will be awarded savings bonds, that
combined, will total $500.
This
is a two part contest. The Queen Tea will be held for
all contestants the Sunday before the Festival, Oct. 3,
2009, where each contestant will be interviewed by a panel
of judges. contestants will receive detailed information
regarding the contest at a later date. To be
eligible to participate in the pageant, attendance at both
the tea and the coronation is required.

Each
participant must find a local business or resident as a
sponsor. This year's sponsorship fee is $35.00, which
helps to cover the cost of the pageant and provides funds
for the scholarship. Please complete the entry form
below and return it along with the entry fee tot he
Plattsburg High School office. The deadline for
entry is September 18, 2009.
